The history of the company starts in 1908 with the founding of Svenska Rotor Maskiner (SRM) in Stockholm, Sweden.
1934
Screw Compressor
The first screw compressor was invented in Sweden thanks to the intuition of Alf Lysholm (Chief Engineer of the sooner to be SRM). The company became soon the leader in the production of screw compressors.
1991
Refcomp
RefComp was founded in Lonigo, Italy: the ancestor of SRMTec Italy, counting more than 30 years of experience in screw and reciprocating compressors production thanks to its Italian know-how.
2000
Fujian Snowman
Fujian Snowman was founded in China expanding the internationality of compressors’ market devoting itself to the development and production of ice machines and refrigeration systems.
2012
Acquisition of SRMTec
Fujian Snowman acquires SRM, creating a strong partnership that continues nowadays.
2013
Acquisition of RefComp
Fujian Snowman acquires RefComp, expanding in the Italian market and creating another successful partnership.
2014
SRMTec Group
SRMTec Group was founded, merging the knowledge of three companies and ranging from commercial to industrial compressors creating a strong and reliable partnership.

SRMTec Italy
Nowadays SRMTec Italy is still a fundamental partner of Fujian Snowman Group, even though SRMTec Italy remains loyal to the Italian know-how, quality and performance that have always distinguished the company all over the world.
