The motor’s aluminum windings do not risk deteriorating compared to insulated copper windings. Without a shaft seal, this technically permanent leak-proof solution is perfectly suited for applications in residential areas or nearby, where concerns about ammonia may prevail. This compressor is therefore intended for commercial process cooling or comfort cooling/heating.

Semi-hermetic ammonia compressors offer the solution for smaller capacity ranges or when the choice falls on a technically permanent leak-proof system.
